Gas Pipe at 3000 West and 300 North in West Point, Utah is Being Taped to Stop a High Pressure Leak That Occurred at the Same Time as the Earthquake. The Repair Took More Than 5 Hours to Complete. Due to the Coincidence of Timing, Mountain Fuel Company Officials Assume That the Earthquake Was Responsible for the Leak (Deseret News 9/16/1962). 1962 Magna, Utah Earthquake Magnitude 5.2.
